Jorge Moll is no ordinary doctor, having earned his MD in Neuroscience from the Federal University of Rio de Janiero in 1994. Moving onto to complete his medical residency in neurology at the same university in 1997. He earned a Doctorate in Sciences (experimental physiopathology- human physiology) from the University of Sao Paulo in 2004. During his tenure he has specialized in cognitive neuroscience, with a postdoctoral degree in cognitive neuroscience section from the National Institutes of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (USA 2004-2007.
Diving deep into his research, Jorge Moll researches the neural bases of behavior and moral cognition, moral emotions, antisocial behavior and other areas. He works with patients with neuropsychiatric disorders. Jorge Moll has always had a desire to assist people who were negatively impacted from disorders. He is the president and board member of D’Or Institute of Research and Education. As well as the Director of the Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience Unit.
“I have always had a dream and passion to cultivate world-class research, education, and healthcare in my home country,” said Jorge Moll. His interests include artificial intelligence, cognitive systems and the compatibility of machines and brains. He is intrigued by the latest developments in regenerative medicines and gene therapy. Jorge Moll suggests an open heart, transparent operation and become skill to be an effective business operator. He spends time with his family and pursues his passion by researching and developing tools to help those who need coping skills with neurological disorders.
Between studying, lecturing, training and working with patients, Jorge Moll is a family man. He spends quality time between work and family to ensure that all his goals are well balanced. Productive to the fault, he does fail but he works closely from his failures to ensure future success. He plans on opening up new websites in the near future with new ideas that are innovative and safe.
